This policy explains what information FJ Electrical & Solar (Schofields, NSW) collects through this website, why we collect it and how you can contact us about it. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you send our quote form, we receive:
- your name, phone number, email address and suburb
- the services you tick (for example solar, batteries or electrical work)
- your quarterly power bill range and any message, if you choose to add them
- that you agreed to be contacted, and the page you sent the form from.
To stop spam, the website also keeps a scrambled (hashed) copy of your internet (IP) address for 10 minutes so it can limit repeated submissions. It is then deleted automatically.
The Sun-o-Meter savings calculator works in your browser. The bill amount you choose is not sent to us unless you go on to send the quote form.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and to quote: to call or email you, arrange a site inspection, and prepare and follow up your quote. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
How it’s stored and who sees it
Form submissions are emailed to our team and are not stored in the website’s database. Your details are seen by our staff, and by our website host, Webcentral, only as needed to run the website and deliver the message. We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to quote and look after your job, then delete them.
Other services
This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers when you view a page.
